The North Jakarta City Government Administration together with PT PLN UP3 Tanjung Priok held an Electrifying Lifestyle Cooking Competition in the lobby of the local mayor's office, Wednesday (10/14).
Induction stoves are safer, cleaner and more comfortable
This activity was attended by around 20 participants from representatives of the Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK) and the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) at the city and district levels.

"Induction stoves are safer, cleaner and more comfortable because they do not produce smoke from the combustion process and reduce excess heat when cooking," she said.
Anita hopes that PKK and DWP cadres can become drivers of education on the use of electrical energy in the family and community environment.
PLN UP3 Tanjung Priok Manager, Hanif Adrhean, explained that the use of induction stoves is a practical cooking alternative for the community.
"With induction stoves, people have a practical cooking alternative without relying completely on LPG gas," he said.
In the competition, participants were challenged to prepare a meat dish in the form of steak with direct guidance from a professional chef, namely Julian Agita Diba.
"Our focus is to encourage people to adopt an electrifying lifestyle in their daily lives," he added.
